The GBMH Summit is a triannual event that brings together professionals, caregivers, policymakers, and stakeholders to delve into interdisciplinary education, idea sharing, and awareness surrounding grief, bereavement, and mental health. Building on the success of our inaugural event in 2021, we are proud to continue our mission of providing a platform for critical conversations and impactful initiatives in the field of mental health support.

Summit Topics, Themes & Event Highlights
Some topics/themes that we will explore include:
- Clinical training for physicians, counselors and health practitioners and volunteers in the grief and bereavement space (pending CME, CE and CEC accreditation)
- Compassionate Communities, how it services as a vehicle in supporting those grieving and bereaved
- Research and innovate practises in the grief, bereavement and mental health space
- International policy and frameworks around community led and integrated grief and bereavement

- Keynote Sessions: Hear from leading experts who will provide enlightening perspectives and innovative approaches in key plenary sessions that address the central themes of grief, bereavement, and mental health.
- Interactive Workshops and Sessions: Participate in a variety of sessions designed to foster practical skills, share cutting-edge research, and explore collaborative solutions to the challenges faced by those dealing with grief and bereavement.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with peers, meet industry leaders, and engage with companies and organizations during the summit. Networking is facilitated through both structured and informal settings, ensuring attendees can form valuable connections.

Accommodation is available at the Westin Wall Centre, Vancouver Airport or River Rock Casino Resort for a group rate of $189/night. For hotel bookings, please call to book and identify yourself as part of the Grief, Bereavement and Mental Health Summit (GBMH) Group. Group booking rate will be available until October 21, 2024 and rooms are limited so we advise you to book early. Accommodation is not included in the ticket price.

Early Bird Combo | This combo package offers the best value, including full access to the summit for all three days, along with admission to the Gala night. This is the only ticket that combines the Summit and Gala together, and is very limited! This ticket does not include training. | $450 |
Training Add-on (Clinical) | Tailored for professionals like social workers, clinicians, and physicians, this ticket provides access to specialized clinical training sessions on Day 1, that are pending accreditation. The training duration is six hours. | TBA |
Training Add-on (Non-Clinical) | Ideal for volunteers and non-clinical staff, this ticket offers access to a total of six hours of training sessions focused on providing support and improving non-medical care techniques. | $100 |
