Hospice Description
Vancouver Hospice Society is a team of healthcare professionals, staff and volunteers who are dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life and bereavement care for individuals and their families in Vancouver.

Location and Parking:
Vancouver Hospice is located at 4615 Granville Street, just south of Connaught Drive. There is one parking stall designated for family members of each patient, located at the back of the building. There is also plenty of free street parking on Connaught Drive.

Patient Rooms:
We have 8 patient rooms, all with windows that face the gardens. Each room is equipped with a washroom, television, telephone, linens, and a sofa bed.


Kitchens & Meals:
There are 2 kitchens in the hospice: one on the main floor, and one on the lower level. Meals prepared by hospice staff are served at the dining table or in patient rooms.

Living Room:
Shared living room on the main floor of the hospice for patients, families, and visitors to enjoy. In addition, there is a large Family Room located on the lower level that includes a comfortable space to gather or relax, as well as a play area for children.

Pets:
Pets are welcome in patient rooms, and dogs must be kept on a leash in all other areas of the hospice and gardens.

Guests:
Guests are welcome to visit patients at the hospice at any time.

Overnight Stays:
Families are welcome to stay overnight during a crisis or in the last hours or days of life. For questions or concerns, please contact the Clinical Coordinator.
