Hospice Description
Hospice Yukon Society has been supporting Yukoners through grief and end-of-life since 1989. They provide programs and services to help people to better understand the profound journey of living, dying and grieving. And they help people to better support themselves and others.
Their dedicated team of staff and volunteers offer support to dying and grieving clients at the Continuing Care Facilities in Whitehorse, the Whitehorse General Hospital, in private homes, and in their downtown office space. They also offer online services and programming for those living in rural Yukon communities.
Vision: Hospice Yukon inspires a compassionate community through support and education for Yukoners experiencing death and grief.

The BC Hospice Palliative Care Association (BCHPCA) recognizes the traditional land of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples who have walked before us and minded the lands we now call home for time immemorial. Hospice Societies have been able to support, aid and care for many people on these same lands.

The BCHPCA Offices are located on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and TsleilWaututh Nations.
