This year, BCHPCA responded to requests
that more time be added to some sessions to allow for in-depth discussion.
Another request was to allow for additional time between sessions. These
changes were well received by conference participants.
Shortly after the
conference, an evaluation survey was sent out to all attendees; comments from some Conference 2018 attendees who completed the
evaluation are included here:
·
Everything I attended was useful, interesting and
well-presented. The plenaries offered a
range/variety of topics and presentations and were all excellent.
·
The facilitators were excellent and very interesting. I enjoyed the
entire Conference.
·
The plenary sessions were inspiring and informative.
·
Jeremie Saunders was amazing.
He made us laugh, he made us cry – he was one of my favourites
over the weekend.
·
I purposely focused on the more clinical sessions and they were all
excellent.
·
Connecting with colleagues is always a highlight. I appreciated the longer sessions and the
transition periods to travel between sessions this year.
·
What I did experience on Friday afternoon was exemplary, best
Conference content I have ever been exposed to.
·
I most enjoyed the opportunity to meet people from different
communities in our province. I also
enjoyed access to quality presenters and their presentation.
