AHPCA Virtual Roadshow – Remembering You: Self-Care During Difficult Times

June 18, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

When the in-person AHPCA Roadshow was postponed to Spring 2021, we still wanted to get together with all of you.

Join us instead at the second session of the AHPCA Virtual Roadshow Spring 2020!

The global pandemic and isolation has changed everything for us, personally and professionally. Are you taking good care of yourself?

Remembering You: Self-Care During Difficult Times

During times of adversity, caregivers commonly put themselves last, believing that the issues or work ahead of them take precedence over their own health and well-being. In this webinar Blair Collins invites participants to take time to slow down and remember the things that nourish and energize them. He will also offer some basic but important self-care tips and strategies to experiment with in order for participants to be able to continue to be of effective service in their roles.

Blair Collins, BA, B.Th., RSW has over 30 years of experience working in a variety of not-for-profit settings, with expertise in the areas of crisis intervention, addictions, domestic violence, prostitution and sexual abuse, grief and loss and LGBT issues including HIV and AIDS. During his career, Blair has facilitated hundreds of workshops and retreats on a variety of topics and issues. Currently, Blair enjoys working with people as a Provincial Marriage Commissioner in Alberta while maintaining a personal coaching practice along with the delivery of workshops and retreats.
